We, the members of the Forked River Gang, aka the Six Pirates of Forked River, tried our luck some years back with Capt. Darren Dorris on the Salty Lady for some “sharkin’.”
Our crew consisted of Rich Labor, Rick Griffin, Sal and Nick Munafo, John Howell and myself. The boat left promptly at 6:30 a.m. on July 20 out of Beach Haven. We had been scheduled to go out the previous day, but wind conditions forced us to reschedule.
