For even the most successful of folks, often their best ideas come from passions, not professions. That was the case for Randy Holl of LunaMar Smart Docking Systems, in creating a solar-powered piling cap for docks.
He was a submarine officer, the vice president at an artificial intelligence company and founder of a healthcare start-up. But it was his love of sailing and his sailing background on Long Beach Island that was the catalyst for this latest venture.
