Long Beach Township Mayor Joseph Mancini swore in Patrolman Sayer Zimmerman as a full-time officer with the municipality’s police department at the township board of commissioners meeting in Brant Beach on Monday, Aug. 3. Zimmerman joined the LBTPD in 2025 as a Special Law Enforcement Officer Class 1.
That same year, the patrolman attended the Ocean County Police Academy, where he earned the Best Overall Recruit Award and the James Tracey Leadership Award.
