The Little Egg Harbor Board of Education certainly had a busy month of June.

The board typically has two meetings a month, a board work session and a regular meeting. But that month it held two special meetings as well, perhaps serving as a warning for people thinking about running for election to any school board, an unpaid position. Especially during this time of shrinking state aid for many districts and huge increases in health insurance costs, it can almost feel like a full-time job.
