Long meetings have become the norm for the Little Egg Harbor Board of Education, even though it had been decided to have two meetings a month, the first a workshop meeting where no official action would be taken and the second a regular meeting.

The workshop meeting on Feb. 4 lasted more than four hours. The regular meeting a week later went on for two hours and 35 minutes, mainly because the board spent almost an hour and a half in executive session.
