The Long Beach Township Land Use Board has approved the application from the owner of the property at 8200 Long Beach Blvd. in Brighton Beach – formerly Kubel’s Too – to construct a two-story mixed-use building on the section of the lot that fronts the Boulevard, which is zoned general commercial. Owner and applicant Barrier Island LLC was seeking preliminary major site plan approval to build a new restaurant, bar and liquor store, and no variances were requested.
