To the Editor:
My family built the house where I live, at 14th Street and Atlantic Avenue, in 1955. Growing up I spent my summers here and 10 years ago became a permanent year-round resident (and registered voter). I am adamantly opposed to the proposed development of the Hand’s Store properties.
The residents of the neighborhood surrounding Hand’s Store made it very clear at the Long Beach Township Land Use Board meeting in August that they strongly oppose the plans to build a hotel on the property now…
