To the Editor:

Our next door neighbor built a house over the winter. It is literally twice the size of our house, 5 feet, 1 inch from our property line on the east side. The windows on the east side overlook our lower deck. We could pass the Grey Poupon during dinner. Gone is our privacy. Our upper deck east side is overshadowed by the sheer height of the house. Privacy gone. My neighbor says that he is planning to eventually live here year ’round. Whatever.

I understand that he has the right to build the biggest house on the street, as long as the setback and height…
