To the Editor:
I graduated with a B.S. in education from the University of Virginia in 1986, and an MEd in special education technology from George Mason University in 1988. I was a special education self-contained fifth- to eighth-grade teacher in Arlington, Va., from 1988 to 1993. I then served as a ninth-to 12th-grade special education resource and in-class support teacher at Southern Regional High School from 1993 to 2021.
I have two adult daughters who attended Stafford Township schools and graduated from Southern Regional High School.
