Among the Long Beach Island swim clubs each year, older swimmers age out and move onto other things in life during their summers. Some take jobs or return to their clubs as coaches, but the experience of swimming with their summer teams carries with them somehow.

For Colin Barry, six years with the Haven Beach Club squad culminated with three championships and a whole lot of friendships.
