Harvey Cedars has joined communities across the country in committing to “The Greatest American Cleanup.”

“This is an initiative by Keep America Beautiful to remove 25 billion pieces of litter and beautify 25,000 communities by America’s 250th Birthday on July 4,” said Mayor John Imperiale. “It focuses on cleaning parks, beaches, roadsides and waterways.”

He said the goal is to have the country looking its best for the 250th anniversary.
