At the Monday, May 18 meeting, the Harvey Cedars Borough Commissioners passed a resolution honoring Robert Romano for his years of service to the land use board. Romano stepped down at the end of last year, having served as chair the past 10 years.
He was first appointed to the planning board in 1999, and then became a member of the land use board when the planning and zoning boards consolidated to form the new group.
