When the Rev. Wesley A. Smith was invited to attend the Harvey Cedars Borough Commission meeting Monday, April 21, he had no clue he was going to be the guest of honor.
After going through the agenda, Mayor John Imperiale called up Rebecca McNeil, a senior aide to Gov. Phil Murphy. She surprised Smith with a letter from the governor congratulating him on his dedication to Harvey Cedars as the Department of Public Safety chaplain.
