This past weekend was so bad the chamber of commerce has rescheduled a make-up weekend for late September, when the weather is sure to be sweet. Anyone still holding tickets for last weekend can redeem them in September. I have no idea what I’m talking about.
My untimely mention of fall can provoke some serious bristling action for summerites, who won’t take fall for an answer. But, lo, this undercooked summer is already inching past its prime.
