To the Editor:
Perhaps Rich Joline from Baldwin Place, N.Y. (“Stick to Surfing,” 8/27) should reconsider his annual visit to LBI and go elsewhere. If he can ask Jon Coen, an essential member of the local LBI community, to relocate, we can ask the same of Mr. Joline.
Simply stated, Mr. Joline’s reasoning is flawed. A majority of Mr. Coen’s neighbors wholeheartedly support and enjoy his weekly SandPaper column along with his many other well-written articles on a variety of topics across several publications.
