Walters Apartments Group and Family Promise of the Jersey Shore continue to strengthen their partnership to prevent homelessness in Southern Ocean County and the entire county.
The Anchors to Stay Prevention Program is one ongoing example. In 2020, FPJS, which then was Family Promise of Southern Ocean County, first approached Walters Apartments Group to partner with the program, which allows eligible families to receive financial aid on rent, mortgage or security deposit payments.
