Southern Regional sailing coach Steve Warren is a realist. He has a great team, perhaps one of the best under his tutelage. But he also knows sailing isn’t some cut-and-dried endeavor, despite the talent in each boat.

“Last year, we went to the national regatta and lost just one of our sailors to graduation,” said Warren, referring to Erin Little, now part of the University of Rhode Island sailing program.
