Donations and volunteers are being sought for the annual Day on the Bay, sponsored by the Barnegat Recreation Disability Advisory Board and taking place on Sunday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sherer’s Boat Basin, 482 East Bay Ave. in Barnegat Township.
“This is a day when we give people with special needs, along with their family and friends, boat rides in the Barnegat Bay,” said Walt Fernandez, event founder and coordinator.
