Anna Marie Angelo paid close attention to everything Paula Cushing and Bob Kirn had been telling her for the better part of 30 minutes. She didn’t understand it all right away, but it was clear she had fun while learning something completely new to her.

“I love it and want to get into it,” said the Stafford Township resident, playing pickleball for the first time inside The Picklr Manahawkin-LBI during its grand opening on March 15. “I’ve been running since about 13 years old.
