Barnegat Township Committee members Alfonso Cirulli and Joseph Marte recently filed for re-election in November as the Republican ticket. The GOP has a 5-0 majority on the committee.
They are opposed by the Democrat tandem of Marianne Clemente and newcomer Cassandra Licata-Link. Clemente once unsuccessfully ran in the Democratic primary. Both slates are uncontested in this year’s primary.
