Although she is known as a pottery instructor and studio technician, Christina Hoglander always finds herself coming back to painting. Since she doesn’t share them often, she explained, she took the opportunity to showcase her paintings specifically in the upcoming “Friends We Meet Along the Way” show at the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences.

The show will run for three weeks, March 8 through 29, with an artists’ reception to be held Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m.
