To the Editor:
Bravo and thank you to the participants in creating a native wildflower garden on the median bordering North Beach and Surf City. As our Island slowly converts to pools, pavers and McMansions, this is a welcome bright spot that will support beneficial birds, insects and pollinators. I am hopeful this effort will inspire additional native plantings up and down LBI.
