A new gateless and cashless pay-to-launch system at the municipal boat ramp in Surf City is expected to be online by mid-June, borough officials announced May 13.
Provided by Premium Parking, the system is designed to speed launches, cut cash handling and fund ramp maintenance and upgrades without adding staff. Signs are anticipated to arrive and be installed next week; remaining IT elements for permit verification and digital notices will follow.
