The Bed Bath & Beyond in Manahawkin is on the latest list of stores that are shutting their doors against financial uncertainty in a plan to avoid bankruptcy.

“We’re closing,” confirmed Manahawkin Store Manager Jose Nieves in a telephone call from The SandPaper last week. The timeline is “the end of March,” he said, “unless we run out of merchandise first.”
