According to Todd Pover, senior wildlife biologist with the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey, the beach-nesting bird habitat restoration site in Barnegat Light has wrapped up its best breeding season since the project’s start in 2019.

“This is exciting news,” he said, “given it was a challenging year at many other breeding sites along the New Jersey coast.”
