Beach Haven’s Gator beach taxi service will again be offering assistance for older and disabled people to give them improved access to borough beaches. The free service is available daily beginning Saturday, June 27, through Labor Day.
Mary Claire Bunce, deputy borough manager, said the vehicle was manufactured by the John Deere Co.; the borough initially purchased it through a $17,000 grant from Coastal Living Real Estate.
