When Josh Toddings walked through the main door of Barnegat High School in the early evening of Tuesday, Aug. 25, he was met by fanfare in the form of the high school and Junior Bengals cheerleaders. Toddings was at the school on his way to the board of education meeting where he was about to be appointed as the new district superintendent.

At the start of the meeting, the welcome continued as the Junior Bengals lined up in cheer formation and shouted repeatedly, “Let’s go, Toddings!”
