To enhance same-day access to medical care for Barnegat Township and the Ocean County community, AtlantiCare plans to open an Urgent Care Center in Barnegat Village Square at 912 West Bay Ave. in the Acme shopping center by early summer.
The site, which will move into space from two vacant businesses, will be open seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., to treat non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
