As racers trekked through the course, the Sahara Sand mining facility, located on Route 9 in Eagleswood, celebrated its 13th annual MCI Stump Jumper Hare Scramble.
Over the sounds of revving bike engines, the excited and hopeful cheers from families and fans rose from the sidelines. The races are a weekend-long event. Rain or shine, the participants travel from all over the East Coast to race at the Sahara Sand course.
